‘Norwich & Central Norfolk Mind’s Low cost counselling Service offers a variety of counselling to members of the public aged 16+ and these include CBT, person centred and integrative approaches.

Most of our counselling is offered by trainee counsellors in placement, all are on an approved training at diploma level or above and we also have fully qualified volunteer counsellors.  An initial assessment session with a fully qualified counsellor is done before any sessions can begin.’

‘Norwich and Central Norfolk MIND’s Support Line has been developed to provide support and practical advice to eligible clients when they feel they are not coping well with life, are highly anxious or maybe at risk of going into crisis. The service is available for any person who is over eighteen years of age who has received secondary services from the NSFT and up to twelve months after discharge, also carers of eligible clients can use the service for support and advice.’

‘By helping people to manage mental health problems we continue to strive to reduce the likelihood a service user falling into crisis; operating as a lifeline and integral service for so many people who are struggling across our city and county.’
